This term at coopers there has been many great extracurricular events going on. There has been 2 after school music performances where all the music clubs have performed the pieces they’ve been working on this term. There has also been many music school trips including the choir performing at Saint Botolph's twice and the orchestra performing at Guildhall. Coming up in the new year there will certainly be more events that the music department will host so if you’re interested pop on down to the music department and speak to one of the teachers.
In terms of sport, many people across the school have represented Coopers in sporting events not only in Havering but all across London. Just to name a few, in the Senior Swimming Gala, Coopers Coborn won 1st place in the annual event. The under 13 boys tennis got 12th in Great Britain at the South East regional finals event. Coopers has also had many badminton competitions across the school and there has been a lot of success throughout. The year 8 badminton a team won all their games in the Havering League and the under 14 and under 16 girls traveled to Chelmsford County High to represent the school in badminton.
Well done to everyone who’s represented the school in a sporting event this term and well done to all winners of their event.
